$1.29 flip flops turned in to beautiful summer shoes!!

I got this idea off of pintrest this is the link to the tutorial we went off of but we did do it a little different :) http://www.popularpix.com/pic-77.html  This was the perfict summer time project for my daughter and I we had so much fun in the tutorial i think she used a needle and thread to put the embelishments on but we just used hot glue :) and its working just fine!

This is the pair I helped my daughter make she picked out the colors and the embellishments I used the glue gun lol remember she is only 4 lol but I love the fact that she loves to craft with me I wouldn't have it any other way!!!

The start of my Art Journal!!!

MY ART JOURNAL

This is the first page I made in my art Journal I've been wanting to try some mixed media type of work just for my self and so this was made with tape and some scraps of leftover scraping stuff and a few stamps and some of my fav. words. 

This page I stamped and put a few quotes on it I also tangled the space to fill the hole page up :)

So this is what I did I don't have a die for making tags so I used one of the big and one of the small tickets and made them on my score board I then distressed and inked and stamped and embossed each tag and then matted them on the page but I love love love the way its turned out!!!

HOW I MADE THE TICKETS...

I used a peace of 12x12 scrap paper for the big tickets I cut every 2 inches and then scored every 3 inches for the small ones it was cut every 1 1/8 and score every 1 3/4 then I punched holes like in the pix above you can use a reg hole punch for the small tickets and I used a 3/4 hole punch for the big ones and they turned out great!!!! 

This is how my first ticket turned out and i loved it so thanks to the ladies above for the great inspiration and how too i will defiantly be doing more tickets!!!!
